The Lady Eagles wasted no time after the tip-off on February 3 at Philipsburg, storming out to a 21-point first quarter while holding PO to just 4 points.
Tyrone found their rhythm early, capitalizing on fast breaks and knocking down mid-range jumpers with ease.
The second quarter began with Tyrone leading 21–8, and the Lady Eagles kept their momentum rolling, adding another 21 points. Philipsburgh only added four points to their total.
The Lady Eagles closed out the first half firmly in control, heading to the locker room with a commanding 42–12 lead.
The third quarter opened with Tyrone’s pace slowing, but the Lady Eagles stayed solid defensively, adding eight points while once again holding PO to just four.
In the final quarter, Tyrone kept their foot on the gas, extending their scoring run while shutting out PO completely.
The Lady Eagles sealed the dominant win, 62–16.
Senior Rylan Crowell led the way with 16 points, while Woodring followed with 11, both pacing the Lady Eagles’ scoring effort.
It was an impressive all-around performance from Tyrone, even against a PO team struggling through a tough season.
Tyrone’s record improved to 14-5, and PO fell to 6-13.
The Lady Eagles are on track to qualify for the district tournament.
