Planning for college can be a very scary and stressful situation for many students. Will I be able to afford the cost? Do they have the major I am interested in? Can that college transfer my DE credits? These are just a few of the many questions students think of when trying to pick the right college.

To help students to choose the right college, Tyrone’s post secondary guidance counselor Charlie Wynn and the Tyrone Area High School Guidance office have invited many local colleges and technical schools to visit throughout the fall semester.

At the meetings students will be able to learn more about the campus, admission process, and its majors.  Although three colleges have already visited, there are many upcoming visits throughout the fall. As the year continues, more colleges will be added to the list.
