After a disappointing loss at Ricjhland, the Golden Eagles got back on track on Wednesday with a win at Central Mountain, but the 4-13 Wildcats didn’t make it easy for the Golden Eagles.
Tyrone had a hard time making shots with only 13 points and a 1-point lead at the end of the first quarter. The Eagles led by just three points, 23-19, at the break.
Tyrone added four points to their lead in the third and finished with a 55-48 road win.
The Golden Eagles’ leading scorer was senior Ashton Emigh with 16 points. Senior Eli Woomer was the only other Tyrone player in double digits with 15 points.
