The Tyrone Golden Eagles track team were away at Clearfield on April 4, 2017.  Clearfield won the girls meet 88-58, and the boys lost to the Bison 77-73.

Individual place winners for the Golden Eagles were as follows:

Boys Track

The boys 4×800 relay (Jack Lewis, Kyle Plummer, Zach Kohler, and Joe Kohler) took first with a time of 9:08.

Daniel Lay took third in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.6.

In the 100m dash, Parker Mitchell (11.4) took second and Gary Weaver (11.6) took third.

Joe Kohler took first in the 1600m run with a time of 4:56. Right behind was his brother Zach Kohler in second with a time of 4:59.

Grayson Putt (58.2) came in second for the 400m.

The 4×100 relay (Lay, Mitchell, Putt, and Weaver) took first with a time of 46.6.

In the 800m run, Joe Kohler (2:17) took first followed by Zach Kohler (2:17.5) in second.

Mitchell took first in the 200m with a time of 23.7.

Zach Kohler took first in the 3200m run beating his brother with a time of 10:47. Joe Kohler was in second with a time of 10:51.

The boys 4x400m relay (Putt, Mitchell, Loose, Lay) took first with a time of 3:51.

Girls Track

In the 100m hurdles, Makenzie Stauffer (17.5) took first, and Peyton Wagner (18.2) took third.

Alainna Nevling took first in the 100m dash with a time of 13.9.

With a time of 6:55, Cassie Friday took second in the 1600m run.

Tori Crabtree took first in the 400m with a time of 1:09.4.

In the 300m hurdles, Stauffer placed second with a time of 54.40.

Friday took third in the 800m run with a time of 3:01.

In the 200m, Nevling (29.7) took first followed by Kelsey Johnson (31.20) in third.

Maria Barnueveo took second in the 3200m with a time of 15:37.

Boys Field

In the shot put, Aric Reader took second with a throw of 38’6″. Michael Lewis was right behind in third with a throw of 38’5″.

Justin Bickel took third in the javelin with a throw of 138’10”.

In the long jump, Jake Meredith took first with a jump of 19’0.5″.

Meredith also took second in the triple jump with a jump of 37’6″.

In the boys high jump, Meredith took another second with a jump of 5’10”.

Brandon Loose took first in the pole vault with a height of 10’0″.

Girls Field 

Rebekha Schleppy took first in discus with a throw of 84’02”.

In the shot put, Shaniah Lowery (26’0″) took third.

Lowery also took second in the javelin with a throw of 80’09”. Torrie Foy followed in third with a throw of (74’10”).

There was a sweep in the long jump. Lea Crofcheck (15’03”) took first, Emily Fusco (14’08.5″) took second, and Alexis Cannistraci  (13’08.75″) took third.

In the triple jump, Crofcheck (30’07”) took second and Cannistraci (29’06.5″) took third.

Cannistraci also took first in the high jump with a jump of 4’02”.
