The LHAC Championships went very well for the Tyrone Golden Eagles, with numerous athletes earning medals and sixschool records falling.
On the boys’ side, junior Mason Emigh had an outstanding performance, setting two school records in one meet.
In the long jump, Emigh placed third with a new school record of 22-07.50, scoring six points. He is currently ranked No. 13 in Pennsylvania for 2026 in the long jump.
In the triple jump, Emigh also won with a new PR and school record of 46-10.25. He is currently ranked No. 3 in Pennsylvania for 2026 in the triple jump.
On the girls’ side, multiple records were broken as well.
In the 300-meter hurdles, senior Clare Lehman won with a new PR and school record of 45.41, scoring ten points. Lehman is currently ranked No. 21 in Pennsylvania for 2026 in the 300-meter hurdles.
In the 400-meter dash, junior Sarah Chichester medaled, placing third with a new PR and school record of 58.59, scoring six points. Junior Braleigh Flick placed tenth with a PR of 1:02.51.
In the shot put, junior Josie Dicken placed fifth with a new PR and school record of 33-08, scoring four points. Senior Elise Volders placed 15th with a new PR of 29-04.
In the 4×400-meter relay, the Lady Eagles medaled, placing second with a new school record of 4:04.00 and scoring eight points. The relay team included Chichester, Raylee Woodring, Flick, and Lehman. They are currently ranked No. 42 in Pennsylvania.
Boys
The Golden Eagles placed seventh out of 21 teams with 43 points.
In the 100-meter dash, senior Billy Rudden placed 25th with a time of 11.72. Right behind Rudden, junior Jesse Parks placed 26th and set a PR with a time of 11.80.
In the 110-meter hurdles semifinals, juniors Kyler Suhoney and Tyler Connelly both placed high enough to qualify for the finals. Suhoney placed fifth in the semifinals with a time of 16.36, and Connelly placed ninth with a time of 17.16.
In the finals, Suhoney medaled, placing seventh with a time of 16.13 and scoring two points. Connelly set a PR, placing 12th with a time of 16.42.
In the 200-meter dash, junior Drew Irons medaled, placing sixth with a time of 23.31 and scoring three points. Junior Tytus Novak placed 18th with a new PR of 24.00.
In the 300-meter hurdles, Irons medaled, placing fifth with a new PR of 40.83 and scoring four points. Connelly placed 12th with a time of 43.89.
In the 400-meter dash, Parks placed ninth with a new PR of 53.11, and junior Eric Goodman placed 22nd with a time of 55.90.
In the 800-meter run, senior Alex Brumbaugh medaled, placing eighth with a time of 2:09.78 and scoring one point. Right behind him was freshman Landon Wrye, who placed ninth with a new PR of 2:09.82.
In the 1600-meter run, freshman Levi Wrye placed 26th with a time of 5:00.93, and sophomore Cameron Coffey placed 27th with a time of 5:03.95.
In the 3200-meter run, freshman Brenson Davis medaled, placing eighth with a time of 10:39.93 and scoring one point. Senior Nate Erickson placed 17th with a time of 11:20.73.
In the 4×100-meter relay, the Golden Eagles medaled, placing sixth with a season-best time of 44.08 and scoring two points. The relay team included Rudden, Emigh, Irons, and Parks.
In the 4×400-meter relay, the Golden Eagles medaled, placing fourth with a season-best time of 3:33.56 and scoring five points. The relay team included Novak, Parks, Irons, and Goodman.
In the 4×800-meter relay, the Golden Eagles medaled, placing second with a season-best time of 8:31.81 and scoring eight points. The relay team included Novak, Brumbaugh, Landon Wrye, and Davis.
In the discus, sophomore Zach Silva placed 24th with a throw of 101-03, and senior John Stanton placed 34th with a throw of 86-09.
In the javelin, Silva placed 15th with a throw of 131-0, and junior Carter Gwinn placed 17th with a throw of 129-01.
In the shot put, Suhoney placed 24th with a throw of 37-07, and senior Corey Gehlman placed 25th with a throw of 36-01.
In the high jump, sophomore Brody Hoover was part of a seven-way tie for 13th and matched his PR of 5-04.
In the long jump, Emigh medaled, placing third with a new PR and school record of 22-07.50, scoring six points. Emigh is currently ranked No. 13 in Pennsylvania for 2026.
In the triple jump, Emigh won with a new PR and school record of 46-10.25. He is currently ranked No. 3 in Pennsylvania. Sophomore Gavin Brasher placed 18th with a jump of 38-09.50.
In the pole vault, freshman Chandler Deleonardis placed 20th with a jump of 9-0.
Girls
The Lady Eagles placed fourth out of 17 teams with 72 points.
In the 100-meter dash semifinals, both freshman Raylee Woodring and senior Clare Lehman placed high enough to qualify for the finals. Woodring placed eighth in the semifinals with a time of 13.29, and Lehman placed tenth with a time of 13.33.
In the finals, Woodring medaled, placing sixth with a new PR of 12.97 and scoring three points. Lehman also medaled, placing seventh with a new PR of 13.00 and scoring two points.
In the 100-meter hurdles, senior Addison Warren placed 21st with a time of 19.38.
In the 200-meter dash, junior Sarah Chichester medaled, placing second with a time of 26.01 and scoring eight points. Senior Nicole Ramsey also medaled, placing eighth with a time of 27.64 and scoring one point.
In the 300-meter hurdles, Lehman won with a new PR and school record of 45.41, scoring ten points. Lehman is currently ranked No. 21 in Pennsylvania for 2026 in the 300-meter hurdles.

In the javelin, sophomore Geneviene Naylor placed second with a throw of 122-06, scoring eight points.
In the shot put, Dicken placed fifth with a new PR and school record of 33-08, scoring four points. Volders placed 15th with a new PR of 29-04.
In the high jump, sophomore Lola Woomer won with a jump of 5-02, scoring ten points. Woomer is currently ranked No. 36 in Pennsylvania.
In the long jump, Ramsey placed 12th with a jump of 16-00.25, and Woomer placed 16th with a jump of 15-06.75.
In the triple jump, Ramsey medaled, placing seventh with a jump of 33-08.50. Woomer placed 13th with a jump of 32-05.75.
In the pole vault, Warren was part of a three-way tie for ninth with a jump of 8-03.
