Third Annual Gold Rush Race Set for March 18
The Tyrone Race Series will hold its third annual Gold Rush Race in downtown Tyrone on March 18th, 2023.
This year’s race will benefit the Tyrone Borough Fire Companies.
According to the Gold Rush Race website, the organizers “would love to give back to those who volunteer their time and risk their own lives to fight these fires. If it wasn’t for these volunteers these recent tragic events would have been much worse.”
The race day starts with check-in, which begins at 6:30 am at the Tyrone Armory.
The 5k and 10k will begin at 8 am, the kids race at 9:30 am, and awards and closing ceremonies at approximately 10 am.
Last year’s Gold Rush Race was a success with a turnout of around 150 people. The Tyrone Race Series is hoping to have as many people participate as possible.
