Ten Lady Eagles Score in Win Over Penns Valley

The 12-1 Lady Eagles dominated Penns Valley at home on Thursday from tip-off to the final buzzer.

The Lady Rams could not handle Tyrone’s press and fast transition up and down the court, resulting in an easy 58-28 win for the Lady Eagles.

Senior Stephanie Ramsey led the Lady Eagles with 12 points, but the scoring attack was very balanced, with 10 other girls getting on the scoreboard for Tyrone.

Tyrone put up six successful three-pointers, Ramsey had two, and Jaida Parker, Riley Corl, Bree Paul, Summer Shaw each had one.

In the first quarter, the Eagles set the tone early, putting up 23 and holding the Rams to only 4.

Going into the half, the lady Eagles were up 37-10, and Coach Rhoades began to use his bench liberally.

Throughout the third quarter, the Eagles continued to push their lead, and by the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Eagles were up by 30.

Penns Valley did outscore the Eagles 12-10 in the fourth, but the game ended in a 58-28 victory for the Lady Eagles.
