Girls

In the second invite of the season, Tyrone girls earned 6th place out of 14 teams at the Bedford Invitational.

Looking at the running events, Tyrone had some key performers throughout the day in numerous events.

With the girls 4×100 team just beating the record at their previous meet on Thursday, the girls placed 2nd out of 12 teams with a time of 51.00 seconds, which would’ve beat the record again if they didn’t do it beforehand. The girls 4×400 relay ran a 4:25.53 finishing 4th out of 10 teams.

Along with being a part of the 4×100 and 4×400 teams, senior Bree Paul placed 2nd in the 300-meter hurdles running a PR of 49.20 seconds.

Sophomore Alyssa Houck reached 3rd in the 800 meter running a season-best of 2:40.65.

In the field events, sophomore Nicole Ramsey earned 3rd in the triple jump jumping a 32-00.50.

The girls finished sixth as a team.
