Tyrone’s Camp Anderson will host their annual “Fear Fest” Haunted House, hayride and other attractions this month and are in search of student and adult volunteers.

This year’s event will be bigger than ever with four venues.

The event will run the next two weekends, October 19-20 and October 26-27 on Friday and Saturday nights from 6 PM to midnight.

The tickets are $7 per venue and parking and shuttle are free at Smith Transport.

The four venues this year are:

  • The Haunted Dining Hall, Trail, and Hayride
  • The Zombie Paintball Shoot
  • The Escape Rooms
  • The NEW Isolated Trail of Fear.

Anyone who loves Halloween and the Tyrone community is invited to volunteer or to show up for the fun and support the cause.

Students who volunteer can earn service hours for their school or church group.

The Fear Fest staff are in need of scarers and other volunteers. To get more information or to signup, see Mr. McNitt in the high school or send a message to Fear Fest via their Facebook page

Positions available include actors, tour guides, makeup/costumes, and more. Positions are filling quickly so submit your application to secure a spot on Camp Anderson’s team.

Available positions are:

  • Trail guides lead groups through the house and the rest of the haunted camp.
  • Costumed actors. If you love to scare people, then this job is for you!
