We were worn out from battling the two games earlier this week, but we knew we had to suck it up and get the job done on the road

“We played pretty good offensively but defensively I felt we were sluggish. We need to play solid defense each night,” Coach Rhoades said of his team’s performance.

The two games previous to P-O appeared to take a lot out of the Eagles. They didn’t look their best on defense and allowed the Mounties to hit some easy shots and stay in the game.

“We were worn out from battling the two games earlier this week, but we knew we had to suck it up and get the job done on the road,” added Cannistraci.

Haylee Hayward and Halley Herrington led the Mounties with a combined 32 points.

The Lady Eagles are back in action Tuesday night when they host the Central Dragons (10-4). Tip off is at 7:30.
