We couldn’t get anything going on offense. Their defense just strangled us the whole game

— Head Coach George Gripp

The scoring was low, especially for the Golden Eagles. Bellefonte’s zone held Tyrone to only 3 triples, and they weren’t getting much in the lane either.

“We couldn’t get anything going on offense. Their defense just strangled us the whole game,” Added Coach George Gripp.

This is Tyrone’s 6th straight loss and a big reason for this losing streak was the tough schedule of teams they played.

Each team they have played has been over .500 winning percentage, a tough streak of games for the Golden Eagles.

Tyrone falls to 9-9 and out of contention for the Mountain League title. Tyrone plays Bald Eagle on Friday the 3rd and Penns Valley the following Wednesday.
