Tyrone Pins Altoona, Improves to 5-0

The Tyrone “Screaming” Eagles continued their winning streak with a 40-29 victory over Altoona, making the Eagles a perfect 5-0 in dual meet competition.

Despite being without Head Coach Quintin Wright, who came in close contact with COVID-19, the Screamin Eagles clutched four pins against Altoona, erasing an early 17-9 lead after the first five bouts.

“Quentin not being here tonight was pretty hard for the kids, but they stepped up, got it done, and won it for him,” said assistant coach Buddy Walk. “We’ve got a pretty tough schedule this month, but at 5-0, we’re doing pretty well, and we’re pretty happy with where we’re at right now.”
