Tyrone Grapplers Take Down the Highlanders
Tyrone battled back from their first loss against the Clearfield Bisons earlier this week, beating Cambria Heights 42-12 on Thursday night.
Tyrone got three pins and two decisions against the Highlanders, as well as benefiting from two forfeits.
Getting wins for Tyrone were junior Reese Wood, who decisioned Cambria Heights Jack Sheredy 2-0.
Sophomore Andrew Weaver pinned Zech Scott with a time of 3:33.
Sophomore Jacob Rice pinned Tommy Kitchen with a time of 1:01.
Sophomore Braden Ewing decisioned Braylon Rydbaum 10-4.
Freshman Logan Rumberger pinned Bryce Blake with a time of 2:53.
Sophomore Lukas Walk pinned Marshall Eckenrode with a time of 1:56.
Tyrone’s Zack Lash and Jason Barr received forfeits for the Golden Eagles.
The Golden Eagles are back in action next week at Huntingdon on Tuesday.
