The Golden Eagles Dominate Bald Eagle; Move to 5-1 in the Mountain League

The Golden Eagles came another step closer to winning the Mountain League, beating the Eagles of Bald Eagle by a score of 79-55.

The length of Bald Eagle’s team kept it close for the first quarter, but Tyrone took control by early in the second period.

“We started off a little slow, but as long as we get the win, I’m happy,” said senior Dylan Thomas.

Freshman Damon Gripp led the team in scoring with 16 points. Senior Parker Mitchell poured in 15 points as well.

Overall, it was a team effort defeating the Eagles. Seven players scored over six points and Tyrone relied heavily on their press and fastbreak play to carry them to victory.

Blaine Hoover and Jacob Meredith both scored 10 points for Tyrone, which improved to 9-2 overall and 6-1 in the league.

Bald Eagle Area (2-4 in the league) got 12 points from Jaden Jones.
