Red Cross Bloodmobile Returning to TAHS on October 8

The annual HOSA sponsored fall Red Cross Bloodmobile will return to Tyrone Area High School on Tuesday, October 8th in the high school gym.

The blood drive is open to the public and all students who meet the following criteria:

  • At least 16 years of age (with parent permission, or 17 without parent permission)
  • Have no tattoos or piercings less than one year old
  • Be in good health
  • Have not donated blood in the past 56 days
  • Weigh at least 110 pounds.

The blood drive is staffed by student volunteers from the Health Occupations Students of America Club (HOSA), which is run by Health Tech teacher Mrs. Christie Taylor.
