After a night of only four games, standings in the Eagle Eye March Madness changed dramatically. With Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin and the 11th seed Dayton all winning on Thursday night, the first half of the Sweet 16 is finished.

Remaining as the leader is junior Preston Mitchell, after Olivia Bietz dropped to 6th place with Baylor losing.

Mitchell also wanted to give a shout out to his brother Dwayne and the Lamonster for their constant support. Mitchell is up to 39 correct picks on his bracket.

Coming out of the shadows is another junior Ben Wolfe. Wolfe has made his way to second place with 38 correct picks. His final four consists of Arizona, Louisville, Virginia, and Kansas, who lost in second round.

Tied for third is sophmore Anna Baran with 39 correct picks.  Also tied for third with 38 correct picks is senior Bailey Christine and sophomore Stevie Lucas. These three students also have their final fours remaining as a possibility.

The next four games of the Sweet 16 will be played tonight to decide the Elite 8 matchups.  We’ll have another update after the next round of games.
