Tyrone’s Camp Anderson will hold its annual Haunted Camp this October and is still in need of dozens of student and adult volunteers.

The dates for the 2017 Haunted House are Friday, October 20, Saturday, October 21, Friday, October 27, Saturday October 28, and Sunday, October 29.

Anyone who loves Halloween and is willing to help the boy scouts is invited to apply.

Students who volunteer qualify to earn service hours for their school or church group.

If you would like to volunteer, there are a several positions you can apply for:

• Trail guides lead groups through the house, and the rest of the haunted camp.
• Costumed actors. If you love to scare people, then this job is for you!
• Make-up artists. Put your talent and creativity to work to help with scary costumes and make up.
• Facilities and operations. These volunteers set up the props, keep the camp clean, and also help with tear down.

Volunteers who work the event for two nights then get a free Fear-Fest t-shirt. Those who work all four nights of the event will receive a t-shirt and a free hoodie.
