Penns valley scored early and often against the Eagles to put them down at the start. Penns Valley was held in the first inning but came out in the second and scored 5 runs followed by 3 more in the second to take a early 8-0 lead over Tyrone.

Penns Valley added another run in the top of 5th inning. To move their lead to 9-0. Trone put runs on the board in their final three at-bats but were unable to make the climb all the way back up to tie the game or take the lead.
