Junior Noel Politza and Bishop Guilfoyle Senior Carley Ciampoli have been friends since last summer when they life guarded together at Delgrosso’s Amusement Park. Noel knew that she would make the perfect prom date. After an ice cream date one evening, Noel surprised Carley when they got to her house with a poster that read “Carley, it would be bomb if you went to with me to…Prom?”. Noel even added Carley’s favorite colored flowers to the promposal.

Eagle Eye: Who did you ask to go to prom with?

Noel Politza: Carley Ciampoli

EE: Describe in detail how you asked them.

NP: After we went for ice cream, we went home and I asked her with a poster and flowers. It took me a couple of days to plan and a few hours to make. My mom helped me with it.

EE: Why did you choose this person?

NP: She is a really good friend and I know her really well. She is really pretty and really fun, and I wanted to go with someone I knew I would have fun with.

EE: Where did you get the inspiration to ask?

NP: I knew she hadn’t been asked by anyone and she is a really good friend.

EE: What relationship do you have with the person?

NP: Friend

EE: Give us your side of the story. Why do you think they asked you?

Carley Ciampoli: I think Noel asked me because we both have fun together. I met him last summer at DAP as lifeguards, and we built a good friendship from that. He wants an unforgettable prom, and I think he know that going together will definitely make that happen!

EE: Describe in detail how you were asked and how you felt.

CC: He took me out for ice cream and when we got back he asked me with flowers and a sign. I almost dropped my milkshake. I was so surprised. The flowers were one of my favorites colors too! We are going to have a great time.

EE: Did you have any suspicions that you were going to be asked by them?

CC: I had absolutely no idea that he was going to ask me which was really cool. I was utterly shocked and am very excited top go.

EE: Why should you win this contest?

CC: I think Noel and I should win it because it would make his prom extra special. It would also be a really nice memory to be able to look back on after we graduate.
