Senior Gavin Woomer and Sophomore Julianna Miller.

This next entry is the result of senior Gavin Woomer asking his girlfriend sophomore Julianna Miller to this year’s prom. Gavin drove to Julianna’s home with his sign and flowers ready to go. Gavin’s sign consisted of a fun play on words about fishing.

Julianna was very surprised and of course, she said yes!

Promposer: Gavin Woomer

Eagle Eye: Describe how you asked them to prom…

GW: I went to track and then as soon as the track was over I drove as fast as I could to her. I said hey would go to prom with me and she said yes.

EE: Why did you choose this person to ask?

GW: Because I love her and I really like going on dates and dances with her. And I really wanted to ask her to prom.

EE: Where did you get the inspiration for the idea?

GW: It’s my senior year I really haven’t been doing anything for her. I needed to do this for her and surprise her to make her day a little better.

Promposee: Julianna Miller

Eagle Eye: Describe your reaction to the promposal. Were you surprised? Was it funny? Romantic? Sarcastic?

JM: It was funny and romantic. I ran into his arms excited to see him. He had the sign ready in hand. He asked me to prom and I was shocked. I told him yes and was very happy.

EE: Did you know that they were going to ask you or was it a total surprise?

JM: I had a suspicion he was going to ask at some point.

EE: Why should you win the contest?

GW: I think we should win the contest because I worked very hard on the poster and I am gonna have a blast at prom with her.
