Who needs guys when you have your best friend? Cheyanne Robinson got a little sentimental when she decided to get a stuffed teddy bear that contained a creative pun to ask her close friend Caitlyn Rhodes to prom.  Caitlyn had no idea Cheyanne was going to prompose but was delighted when she did.

We had a chance to sit down and talk with the couple about their promposal:

Promposer: Cheyanne Robinson

Eagle Eye: Who did you ask to go to prom with?

Cheyanne Robinson: Caitlyn Rhodes

EE: Describe in detail how you asked them.

CR:  I said “you are my beary best friend! Prom?” I bought her a bear and made a poster.

EE: Why did you choose this person?

CR: Because we are really good friends

EE: Where did you get the inspiration to ask?

CR: I thought of it myself because I thought it was sweet and awesome.

EE: What relationship do you have with the person?

CR: Friends

Promposee: Caitlyn Rhodes

EE: Give us your side of the story. Why do you think they asked you?

Caitlyn Rhodes: She had no one to go with. I was extremely surprised when Cheyanna asked me.

EE: Describe in detail how you were asked and how you felt.

CR: I was extremely excited when Cheyanne asked me to prom. I am happy that she did though because the prom is also 2 days after my birthday.

EE: Did you have any suspicions that you were going to be asked by them?

CR: No.

EE: Why should you win this contest?

CR: It’s very original!
