Eagle Eye: What inspired you to become a teacher?
Mr. Michael Funicelli: I have always wanted to help people and what better way to instill some amazing scientific knowledge in students.
EE: How long have you been teaching?
MF: 8 years.
EE: Have you always taught at Tyrone? If not, where else have you taught?
MF: All of them at TAHS.
EE: What is your favorite memory as a teacher?
MF: The day that I won Renaissance Teacher of the Month.
EE: If you weren’t teaching right now, what would you be doing?
MF: Either playing linebacker for the Bears or being a nerdy scientist in a lab somewhere.
EE: Where did you attend high school?
MF: Cambria Heights High School in Patton, PA.
EE: Where did you attend college?
MF: PSU Altoona, PSU Main, IUP, Gannon U.
EE: What is your favorite movie?
MF: Two complete opposites here… The Shawshank Redemption and Dumb and Dumber
EE: What is your favorite book?
MF: The Eyes of The Dragon by Stephen King

MF: Sport-Football, Team-Chicago Bears
