The annual Tyrone Area High School Spring Fling will occur on March 27, 2024. The event is a celebration of spring and a reward for all the hard work that students and staff have done over the long winter months.
The Spring Fling returns for a seventh year and features four movie choices, games, sports, and other activities throughout the school and campus.
Spring Fling began in 2015 and has been held yearly except in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
As usual, we want to give the upperclassman first choice, so please respect the schedule below when signing up for activities:
Seniors: Tuesday 3/19
Juniors: Wednesday 3/20
Sophomores: Thursday 3/21
Freshman: Friday 3/22
DO NOT sign up early! Students who sign up before their designated day will be placed at the bottom of the list and given what is left after the others have signed up.
The event begins after lunches at 12:30 pm on March 27 (Community Service Day activities will be held in the morning) and lasts until the end of the school day at 2:55.
Students can choose from the following activities on a first-come, first-served basis:
- Movie: The 5th Wave
- Movie: Lord of the Rings
- Movie: Marley and Me
- Movie: Barbie
- Board Games
- Card Games
- Silent Reading
- Fitness Center
- Nitro-Ball
- Basketball
- Pickleball
- Tailgate games
- Walking
- Relaxing/socializing at the soccer field
