Camp Anderson Fear Fest Promises Halloween Fun

Camp Anderson’s FEAR FEST

Camp Anderson’s annual Fear Fest is back this October for another season of scares and fun.

The Camp will be open to the public on October 21, 22, 28, and 29 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

“Camp Anderson’s Fear Fest is an annual event and a great place for friends and family to be scared together,” said Camp Vice President Cummins McNitt. “We offer many classic attractions like the haunted house and hay ride. This year we will also have escape rooms and a new Orbeez shooting gallery where guests will be able to battle it out against each other.”

The cost is only $8 per person per venue. The Haunted House and Hayride are included together for one $8 price, the Escape Rooms are $8, and the Orbeez Shooting range is also $8.  Guests can do one, two, or all three venues.

The camp will also have a full food menu each night, including soup, sandwiches, burgers, walking tacos, coffee, hot chocolate, and apple cider.

Parking is available at the Smith Transport Warehouse, 13985 S Eagle Valley Rd., Tyrone with a free shuttle to and from the event.

Fear Fest is also looking for builders, make-up artists, painters, cooks, tour guides, ticket takers, paintball assistants, screamers, actors, jugglers, costume designers, and escape room assistants to help the event run smoothly.

“Volunteers are welcome to bring a tent and camp for the weekend. There will be a shower house available and the camp will provide meals and snacks for everyone from Friday through breakfast on Sunday,” said McNitt.

The remaining construction days are October 14th, 15th, and 16th.
