3rd Annual Promposal Contest
The annual Tyrone Eagle Eye Promposal contest is now entering its third year with even bigger and better prizes.
For those who don’t know, a “promposal” is asking your date to prom with some kind of big gesture: props, signs, humor or anything creative. Last year we had 25 promposals enter our contest, and this year, with bigger and better prizes, we are looking to have even more.

This year, there are four categories: best overall, most romantic, friend promposal, and funniest. Each winner will receive a different prize.
- Best Overall– FREE set of Prom tickets* (an $80.00 value!)
- Most Romantic– FREE prom flowers from Garden Gate Floral in Tyrone
- Best Friend-promposal– Candy basket
- Funniest promposal– $25 restaurant gift card
* Since voting is not until May, the winner of the overall prize will receive a refund of their prom registration fee.
All TAHS students attending the prom are eligible. To enter, submit your promposal photo to the Eagle Eye. Send us picture(s) via Instagram, Twitter, email, or stop by the Eagle Eye news room (room 230) during first or fifth period. Also, pick up a promposal questionnaire sheet outside the Eagle Eye room and submit your answers.
Your photo and story will be published in the Eagle Eye as soon as possible.
The contest begins on Tuesday, February 14th and will end on April 27.
Winners will be determined by a vote in lunch during the first week in May.
