Alyssa Benton, staff writer
Hey there! I'm Alyssa Benton, a senior here at Tyrone Area High School. This is my first year as a member of the Eagle Eye staff and I have to say it's been a great experience thus far. I guess I'm supposed to talk about myself and what I'm involved in now... mmm let's see. I'm the current president of the Renaissance Club, as well as a member of student council, speech team, the Buddy Program, FBLA, FFA, and I participate in our school's choir and theatre programs. I also am a member of the Allegheny Ballet Company, as well as a member of the Altoona Community Theatre. As far as my plans for after high school, I am attending Lock Haven University as a Musical Theatre major with a minor in theater/business management. Well, that's about it. I will leave you with this quote by Aristotle: "The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet."
