“It is nice to be recognized.”

2.      How long have you been teaching? 

“21.5 years”

3.      Did you always intend to be a teacher?

“I was inspired by a teacher that I had in elementary school to teach.  I was also interested in art and oceanography.”

4.      What is your favorite thing about teaching?

“I enjoy when a student you are teaching finally ‘gets it.'”

5.      If you weren’t teaching, what would you be doing? 

“I am about to retire so I plan to travel, hike, fish, hunt, camp, take lots of pictures (passion), play guitar, kayak and more.”

“State College High School”

7.      Where did you attend college?

“Penn State University BS in Health and Physical Education/Master Credits in Environmental Education”

“I like quite a variety of music.”

 9.      What is your favorite book?

” I like many types of books”

“Volleyball”
