Sophomore Katrina Hagenbuch

Sophomore Katrina Hagenbuch was chosen for the Renaissance Star award by agriculture teacher Mrs. Tiffany Hoy.

Mrs. Hoy’s quote:

“Katrina inspires me as a teacher because of her enthusiasm to learn and understand subject materials. As an agricultural education student, she serves as a role model for others by jumping right into the action. If it is developing her leadership skills by attending conferences, or challenging herself to get out of her comfort zone and write and present a speech for FFA competition, or helping other members during community service and promotional events; Katrina is right there and a breath of inspiration. Recently she combined her new love of agriculture and the FFA and combined it with her drawing talents to create a one of a kind picture for the FFA banquet and to place into competition this summer at the Huntingdon County Fair. I’m honored to have Katrina in my program and as I said, she inspires me every day to continue to teach and educate the students of Tyrone Area High School.”
