Summer Job Opportunities Available at TAHS

Students interested in summer work at the high school should apply by April 29.

The Tyrone Area School District is looking for a few current Tyrone High School juniors or seniors interested in summer work at the high school.

Students hired for these positions will assist the custodial staff with summer maintenance of classrooms, halls, and common areas.

Jobs include assisting with the cleaning and waxing of floors, moving furniture and equipment, and general maintenance of classrooms, halls, bathrooms, and common areas both inside and outside the building.

The positions pay $9 an hour and students will work weekdays from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, June 6th through August 19, 2022.

In addition to the application and Act 24/48 form linked above, students must also have a reference from a current Tyrone Area School District staff member and be approved by the Tyrone High School Dean of Students, Luke Rhoades.

Students who are under 18 and are not graduating with the Class of 2022 will also need a work permit. See Mrs. Yaudes in the high school main office for more information on how to obtain a work permit.
