Prom Committee releases 2014 registration information and deadlines

Planning to attend the prom this year? See below for all registration information and deadlines.

The Tyrone Area High School Junior/Senior Prom will be held on Friday, May 16th, 2014 at the Altoona Heritage Discovery Center in Altoona from 7:30 to 11:00 pm.

Cost for attending the prom is $38.00 per person.  Checks or money orders should be made out to “TAHS”.  Prom fees are non-refundable.

All students and guests are required to complete a Prom Registration Form.  The forms are available outside of Mrs. Marasco’s Room 238.

Registation forms and payment must be submitted to Mrs. Marasco by Friday, April 18th. 

LATE FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Formal dress is required for all attendees and must be worn throughout the event. Dress shirts must be worn and buttoned at all times. No jeans or casual wear is permitted.

TAHS juniors or seniors attending the prom may invite one guest.

A guest is a student in grade 9-12 at TAHS, A TAHS graduate student under 21, a student under 21 enrolled in a GED program, a student from another district in grade 9-12, a graduate from another disitrict under 21, or a guest approved by the TAHS administration under 21.

All guests from outside of the school district must submit a photo ID as proof of age with their registration form.

Prom fees and registration form must be placed in an envelope with the atendees name and 1st period class clearly printed on it.  Forms & fees for couples should be in the same envelope.

Any money owed to the school district must be paid in full to the main office by Monday, May 12 in order to attend the prom.

Table sign-ups will be on Thursday, April 24 in Mrs. Marasco’s room.

All detentions must be served by Monday, May 5 in order to attend the prom.  Any student suspended for any reason on the date of the prom will not be permitted to attend.

The prom is a school function and a privilege. All Tyrone Area High School rules and regulations contained in the Student Handbook/Code of Conduct will be enforced during the prom.

Admission tickets, royal court voting tickets, parking passes, and other information will be distributed on Tuesday, May 13th in the cafeteria.
