EE: What inspired you to become a teacher?
BG: I tutored physics in college and I enjoy being able to explain physics to those who do not understand it.
EE: How long have you been teaching?
BG: I have taught physics and chemistry for 17 years.
EE: Have you always taught at Tyrone? if not, where else have you taught?
BG: All of my favorite teaching has been done at Tyrone.
EE: What is your favorite memory as a teacher?
BG: I remember all the students that I have taught over the years.
EE: If you weren’t teaching right now, what would you being doing?
BG: If I were not teaching I would be working a manual labor job, like drilling gas wells, farming, or commercial fishing.
EE: Where did you attend high school?
BG: I went to Penn Hills High School.
EE: Where did you attend college?
BG: I attended Grove City College for two years then I transferred to Shippensburg University.
EE: What is you’re favorite movie?
BG: Some of my favorite movie’s include Man on Fire, Rad, and Spy Game.
EE: What is your favorite book?
BG: My favorite book is The Yellow Jersey, It motivates me to ride my bike.
EE: What is your favorite sport and sports team?
BG: Cycling is my favorite sport, but I’m also a fan of Pittsburgh’s sports teams. I grew up in Pittsburgh area.
