Eagle Eye: What inspired you to become a teacher?

Mandy Lumadue: My love for the subject and working with teenagers.

EE: How long have you been teaching?

ML: Sixteen years.

EE: Have you always taught as Tyrone? If not, where else have you taught?

ML: Fifteen years at TAHS, one year at Central Cambria High School. I was teaching AP Biology and ninth grade biology.

EE: What is your favorite memory as a teacher?

ML: The Christmas Assembly the year that Emily McKenna played me pregnant!

EE: If you weren’t teaching right now, what would you be doing?

ML: I truly can’t see myself doing anything else, but maybe something in the medical field.

EE: Where did you attend high school?

ML: Philipsburg-Osceola High School.

EE: Where did you attend college?

ML: University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown

EE: What is your favorite movie?

ML: The Breakfest Club

EE: What is you favorite book?

ML: Any type of historical romance.

EE:What is your favorite sport and sports team?

ML: Football-Steelers, Baseball-Pirates, Volleyball-PSU.
