Eagle Eye: Who is your character for the musical?

Braylinne Shaw: Betty Rizzo!!

EE: Is this your first show? If not, what others have you done?

BS: This is my first official show, however I did Broadway In Song last year.

EE: What are you looking forward to in the musical?

BS: Rehearsals and how everyone watching the show is going to react.

EE: What are you most nervous about on show night?

BS: I am most nervous about getting a line wrong.

EE: What is your favorite song in the musical?

BS: We go together

EE: Who is your favorite character in the show besides your own?

BS: Frenchy 

EE: Why did you choose to be a part of the musical?

BS: It is a great environment and amazing people to be around, and I love singing. 

EE: Why should people come to see “Grease (School Version)”?

BS: Everyone in the show has put a lot of effort and worked really hard on it.

Hannah Johnston: Frenchy

EE: Is this your first show? If not, what others have you done?

HJ: No, last year’s show “Broadway in Song”.

EE: What are you looking forward to in the musical?

HJ: Making memories with the cast and laughing at the guys.

EE: What are you most nervous about on show night?

HJ: Remembering my lines and choreography.

EE: What is your favorite song in the musical?

HJ: Greased Lightnin’

EE: Who is your favorite character in the show besides your own?

HJ: Doody

EE: Why did you choose to be a part of the musical?

HJ: To step out of my comfort zone and I love singing.

EE: Why should people come to see “Grease (School Version)”?

HJ: You are guaranteed a laugh and it’s great entertainment.

Eagle Eye: Who is your character for the musical?

Bekah Sprankle: Marty

EE: Is this your first show? If not, what others have you done?

BS: I was in the 2020 cast of Newsies, played Sally Brown in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” in 2022, and was part of “Broadway in Song” last year.

EE: What are you looking forward to in the musical?

BS: I’m super excited for the community to see this wonderful cast do what they love! There is a lot of hard work and good energy being put into this show that I am eager to see pay off!

EE: What are you most nervous about on show night?

BS: Honestly, I’m most nervous about my emotions getting the better of me. It’s my last show… I feel like I’m way more sad than nervous!

EE: What is your favorite song in the musical?

BS: I love “We Go Together”! It’s super lighthearted and fun, but hitting all of the syllables is also challenging enough that I couldn’t possibly get bored of it!

EE: Who is your favorite character in the show besides your own?

BS: I’ve always really loved Rizzo; she has a confidence and sass to her that I have loved ever since I first watched Grease.

EE: Why did you choose to be a part of the musical?

BS: My passion for theatre has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even when I was just doing small church shows as a little kid, I’ve always had so much love for performing. Getting to do these shows for the past several years have created some of the best memories of my life so far, and getting to do Grease as my last one is absolutely letting me go out strong with people that I care about!

EE: Why should people come to see “Grease (School Version)”?

BS: This show is just so, so much fun! It’s a production that can appeal to all ages in some way, and we have an outstanding group of really talented and hardworking performers who radiate sincere love for what they do. It’s definitely a must-see!

Paige Carper: Jan

EE: Is this your first show? If not, what others have you done?

PC: No, I did “Broadway In Song” in 2023.

EE: What are you looking forward to in the musical?

PC: I am looking forward to seeing Rizzo and Kenickie fight.

EE: What are you most nervous about on show night?

PC: The audience.

EE: What is your favorite song in the musical?

PC: We Go Together

EE: Who is your favorite character in the show besides your own?

PC: Patty Simcox 

EE: Why did you choose to be a part of the musical?

PC: This musical group is my family, they are always there when I need them and never fail to put a smile on my face. 

EE: Why should people come to see “Grease (School Version)”?

PC: It is going to be hilarious, you are guaranteed to get a laugh. We put so much hard work and dedication into this show.

Lydia Meredith: Marty & Ensemble

EE: Is this your first show? If not, what others have you done?

LM: Yes this is my first.

EE: What are you looking forward to in the musical?

LM: I am looking forward to the first time we are in full costume and makeup to see our characters all put together.

EE: What are you most nervous about on show night?

LM: I am nervous overall about performing in front of all the people because it’s my first show having to remember lines.

EE: What is your favorite song in the musical?

LM: Beauty School Dropout 

EE: Who is your favorite character in the show besides your own?

LM: Rizzo 

EE: Why did you choose to be a part of the musical?

LM: I love singing and dancing, I think it’s cool to see everything come together even in the early stages of practicing. 

EE: Why should people come to see “Grease (School Version)”?

LM: We’re all putting lots of time and effort into preparing the show and we’re all making big a commitment to make it the best that it can be, it’s definitely going to be a great show.

When not in school, he’s always doing something, whether it will be training for his next soccer match or drawing art with some music playing in the background.
