Eagle Eye: What inspired you to become a teacher?
Ronald Fedore: I was always a little anxious when I was in school. I wanted to make my a class a place where students could feel less stress so that they could be comfortable to learn.
EE: How long have you been teaching?
RF: This is my 23rd year teaching at Tyrone.
EE: Have you always taught at Tyrone? If not, where else?
RF: I taught in Cambridge, Maryland for 5 years.
EE: What is your favorite memory as a teacher?
RF: My favorite memories involve students who were initially not very good in school turning things around and discovering that they could be successful.
EE: If you weren’t teaching right now, what do you think you would have done with your life?
RF: Something outdoors, like being the head groundskeeper at PNC Park.
EE: Where did you attend high school?
RF: Forest Hills.
EE: Where did you attend college?
RF: IUP, UPJ, and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
EE: What’s your favorite book?
RF: Pistol – The Life of Pete Maravich.
EE: What is your favorite sport and sports team?
RF: Pittsburgh Pirates.
EE: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
RF: Biking, walking, cooking.

Mr. Fedore is a really great teacher. he is one of the best. he helps students if we need help, he is a great person to go to if you’re having a bad day. he finds a way to make you feel better.
