The Lady Eagles had a challenging week, playing three games in four nights, but rose to the challenge winning  two out of three games.

Tyrone 3, Juniata Valley 2

Tyrone won a nail biting victory over Juniata Valley Monday, September 11. Tyrone took the first two sets but lost the third and fourth set. The final set was very close with winning 15-13 in the fifth set.

“Tonight was a good confidence boost for our young team heading into a tough Penns Valley team tomorrow at their place.  If we continue to improve a little each day and keep gaining confidence I’m excited to see where this team can go,” says head coach Michael Kraft.

Senior Emily Fusco left the floor with a sprained ankle at the beginning of the fourth set. Near the end of the fifth set Emily fiercely came back in and made a kill to win the game 15-13.
