Lady Eagles Extend Winning Streak to 12

The Tyrone Lady Golden Eagles extended their winning streak to 12 games on Monday, dominating Phillipsburg 74-13.

Coming off a big overtime win against Northumberland Christian on Saturday, the Lady Eagles did not have a letdown.

Tyrone opened up the first quarter on a dominating 36-0 run and going into the half, the Eagles were up 44-1.

Senior Emma Getz led the Lady Eagles with 22, Kayelin Gibbons added 14, followed by Stephanie Ramsey with 13.

During the second half, Tyrone cruised, increasing their lead while getting their bench more varsity experience.

The Lady Eagles will take on Clearfield Thursday at home, followed by Mercyhurst on Saturday at 3:30 pm.
