The Lady Eagles faced the Clearfield Lady Bisons for a second time this season, winning in straight sets 3-0 on Tuesday, October 6.

The first set was short with little service errors and many kills by the Lady Eagles. The team got multiple aces and overall served well. The energy was high and the girls held Clearfield at under 15 points. The ending score was 25-12.

In the second set, the ladies continued to play at a high competitive level. Many rallies went for a long time, and both teams were scrappy. In the end, Tyrone won 25-14.

In the third, and last, set, Maddy Rockwell and Mattie Cherry went on serving runs and got their team up on points. After another relatively short game, the Golden Eagles won 25-13.

Tyrone’s JV won once again 2-0. The first game’s score was 25-17 and the second one was 25-14. Tyrone’s JV remains undefeated and is standing at 10-0. Varsity won all sets, 3-0. 1st match – 25-12, 2nd match – 25-14, 3rd match – 25-13. They are now 5-5.
