January Teacher of the Month: Ms. Gabrielle McLarren

EE: What inspired you to become a library paraprofessional?
Gabrielle McLarren: I love reading and helping students find books that interest them.
EE: How long have you been a library paraprofessional?
GB: Since 2014. [I was] a learning support para since 2007.
EE: Have you always taught at Tyrone? If not, where else?
GB: I have never worked at another school district.
EE: What is your favorite memory as a staff member?
GB: I can’t pick just one!
EE: If you weren’t teaching right now, what do you think you would have done with your life?
GB: I always wanted to be a zookeeper that worked with elephants.
EE: Where did you attend high school?
GB: Tyrone.
EE: Where did you attend college?
GB: Lock Haven University, I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry.
EE: What’s your favorite book?
GB: Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson.
EE: What is your favorite sport and sports team?
GB: I don’t watch sports so I don’t have a favorite team.
EE: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
GB: Reading, making jewelry, arts and crafts.
