Fortnite Frenzy: What’s the Deal?
Two of Eagle Eye’s finest talk straight from the Fortnite gospel.
Fortnite: Battle Royale is a free game that is beyond popular today on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation.
If you are new to the game, it can be difficult to get started, but with a few tips, we’ll help you get to Victory Royale in no time.
“Only land at Tilted Towers and if you don’t, you’re trash,” said senior Fortnite expert Jake Meredith, about how to get good and start winning games.
Some other tips include: Hitting your shots, land at Dusty Depot, don’t hide in a bush, don’t be trigger trash, and most important might be to learn how to build, it will help in fighting situations.
While the ultimate goal of the game is to be the last person standing, for many experienced players kills are what the game is all about for some.
Fortnite extraordinaire and Eagle Eye’s very own Kolby Cowher has several tips to get kills. “If you want kills, make sure you bounce on over to Tilted Towers and grab yourself one of them Pump Shotguns real swift. Once you got one of those pups you’ll absolutely decimate everyone in sight,” said Cowher.
There are three different modes that are always available, Squads, which consist of four people, Duos, which consist of two people, and Solos which is one person, and sometimes special modes that are only available for limited times, such as the snipers and revolvers mode.
In Squad and duo modes, players can get knocked before they are actually eliminated, giving them a chance to be revived by a teammate.
At the beginning of each round, players fly in on a bus and pick a spot on the map to land and pick up guns and ammo. The matches consist of around 100 people and the goal is to be the last, squad, duo, or person depending on which mode you are playing. There are a lot of very skilled players out there and it can be difficult to get a win, so don’t be discouraged.
One of the nice things about this game is that the developer, Epic Games, is always coming out with new updates, constantly adding new items so the game never gets old.
New items in recent weeks include the heavy shotgun and another limited time mode called “Blitz” which gives you less time to loot and increases the quality of loot.
Also, with each new season, players have many opportunities to earn new things, and they can purchase the battle pass which gives players lots of goodies.

First of all, never go to Tilted if your not new to the game. Tilted Towers should only be used as a place of training newbies on how to fight like an average player, yes some people may go there for a stupid challenge or something like that but if you want to win don´t go. If you want a safe landing and decent loot in the beginning, you should go to the three pairs of houses just north of Tomato Town. Those three houses are not marked on the map so almost no one goes there. You may only have time to grab two pairs of house and not all three but dont worry, you should be set until late, LATE game ( top 10. ) Also another quick tip never go off of combat pro if your using a controller, it is by far the best type of controls Fortnite can give.

Ninja is a YouTuber who is a professional gamer, and he is really good at the game. I enjoy watching him play and I hope some beginners will watch him to get tips and learn from who I think is the best.

I am upset Jarron bower and Matt Davis weren’t featured in this article. They are the two best players at our school and should have been featured. It’s like if Ninja went to your school and you neglected to quote him. Also you forgot to mention that if you buy 20 dollar skins you are more accurate, build faster and get more wins

I never had a chance to play this game considering that most of my time is spent on the farm, but every word that you just said sound inaccurate

Alright, while you have some points, there are a multitude of things you need to mention for a beginner. Such as the tiers of weapons and what they mean/why they’re so important? How about talk more about building and the importance of building. Talk more about the mechanics of the game so that literal beginners will be able to jump in and understand the game if that’s what you’re going for. Another thing, “hit your shots” makes absolutely no sense in this game. Why? Because the shooting mechanic within the game notoriously named “Bloom” doesn’t allow for very much skill on hitting your shots. Sure the scoped AR is 100% accurate, and so are the snipers, but the shotguns being able to only register 9 damage to the head at point blank, or how about the times where you are aimed on someone’s head with an AR and miss all 30 of your shots? This article needs to dive deeper into the game, and you need to mention a lot of things that beginner’s would need to know rather than just “land here, and don’t die.” If you could, define “trigger trash” for those who don’t know.
