Eagle Eye: What inspired you to become a teacher?
Daniel Plummer: “I was interested in passing on what I learned from my carpentry instructor and early life experiences to others.”
EE: How long have you been teaching?
DP: “This is my 24th year teaching.”
EE: Have you always taught at Tyrone? If not, where else?
DP: “All 24 years I’ve taught here at Tyrone. I even did my student teaching here.”
EE: What is your favorite memory as a teacher?
DP: “The completion of the first house project built my students.”
EE: If you weren’t teaching right now, what do you think you would have done with your life?
DP: “Continued on in construction engineering or have my own construction company.”
EE: Where did you attend high school?
DP: “Mercer High School”
EE: Where did you attend college?
DP: “Penn State”
EE: What’s your favorite book?
DP: “A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain”

DP: “Football, Penn State”
