Ms. Natalie Roberts successfully completed her student teaching assignment in Mrs. Tracy Redinger’s World Cultures classroom in late December.

Born and raised in State College, she plans on substitute teaching in school districts within 30 or so miles of her some, so students may see her back in Tyrone in the spring.

Roberts also plans to continue working on her masters degree at Penn State.

When asked what her favorite part of this experience was, she replied “I enjoyed getting to know the students and Tyrone community.”

Although she doesn’t have a full time teacher job waiting for her, she hopes she will find one soon.

Roberts recently got engaged to her fiance, Michael. He is also from State College and is in the Army National Guard. They are still looking for a place to have their wedding, but they are hoping to schedule it for summer or fall of 2018.
