Tyrone Soars Over Central

After losing only two hard-fought games in the regular season, Tyrone found another way to get a win over Central beating them 40-23 on the road.

Junior Blaine Hoover started off the game with a steal and a layup. The game was a physical, defensive battle from start to finish.

Tyrone was leading by 9 points at the end of the first quarter, 11-2.

Tyrone added on 11 more points before the half while Central only added 4 points to make it 22-6 at the half.

The Eagles came out the second half slow only scoring 4 points to Central’s 9 points. In the fourth quarter, the Eagles finally sealed the deal scoring 14 more points to Central’s 8 more points finishing the game with a score of 40-23.

Landon DeHaas led Tyrone with 11 points.
