FFA Spotlight: Senior Guy Williams

“My greatest accomplishments were becoming an officer and or my extensive work on my agriscience project,” said senior Guy Williams, this week’s FFA Spotlight.

Guy Williams is a Tyrone Area FFA member who challenges members to look at the different aspects of agriculture and cultural issues.  His membership officially started his junior year as he enrolled in first agricultural education course.  Since then he has gone on to chair several committees and serves as this year’s chapter sentinel. Guy became a member by accident he has really stepped up in leadership.

What made you join FFA?

Guy Williams: “I joined FFA by a random chance when Animal Science appeared on my schedule in my junior year.”

What was your greatest accomplishment in the chapter?

GW: “My greatest accomplishments were becoming an officer and or my extensive work on my agriscience project.”

Do you have any plans for after you graduate?

GW: “My plans for post-graduation is to become an LPN and work in the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.”

What is your favorite memory in the chapter?

GW: ”My favorite memory so far in the chapter was receiving my jacket as it gave me something materialistic to tie me to the chapter.”
