Who doesn’t love pie? Junior Dylan Thomas promposed to his senior girlfriend with a giant pie posterboard. Afterwards, they shared a coconut pie from Dave’s Dream. Alexis was surely surprised when Dylan said he wasn’t going to prompose anytime soon, but he did it that night and she was delighted. She received a pie and a prom date!

We had a chance to sit down and talk with the couple about their promposal:

Promposer: Dylan Thomas

Eagle Eye: Who did you ask to go to prom with?

Dylan Thomas: Alexis Cannistraci

EE: Describe in detail how you asked them.

DT: It took a few days to think of an idea. Once I got it, it took a few days to complete everything. After that, I went to her house and waited to surprise her.

EE: Why did you choose this person?

DT: She’s my beautiful girlfriend

EE: Where did you get the inspiration to ask?

DT: She’s always telling me about coconut pies from Dave’s Dream, so I wanted to get her one.

EE: What relationship do you have with the person?

DT: She’s my girlfriend

Promposee: Alexis Cannistraci

EE: Give us your side of the story. Why do you think they asked you?

Alexis Cannistraci: He told me he didn’t have anything ready and he wouldn’t be able to ask me for weeks and then he asked me that day.

EE: Describe in detail how you were asked and how you felt.

AC: He surprised me at my house with a huge pie sign and a real coconut cream pie from Dave’s Dream.

EE: Did you have any suspicions that you were going to be asked by them?

AC: I knew he was going to ask me. I just had no idea when.

EE: Why should you win this contest?

AC: We looked bomb last year and we’re gonna look bomb this year. Also, everyone loves pie!
