Brett Kavanaugh: Wrongly Accused

Sexual assault and rape allegations have clearly increased over the past few years in the public eye. With the “Me Too” movement in full swing, these allegations have reached the highest levels of government, and in this case, the Supreme Court.

If you happen to be uneducated on the current situation referring to the Brett Kavanaugh sexual assault allegations, allow me to explain. Brett Kavanaugh is the current Supreme Court nominee that President Trump has nominated to take the empty seat in the Supreme Court after the resignation of Justice Anthony Kennedy. Multiple women have now come forward and accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting them. The first woman to come forward was Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

So if they really cared, why did Dianne Feinstein wait two months to come forward, when she knew about it the whole time?

Dr. Ford has claimed that she was sexually assaulted in 1982 at a high school party by Brett Kavanaugh and his friend, Mark Judge. She came forward with no evidence. Eleven days after Trump nominated Kavanaugh, Ford contacted The Washington Post and Congresswoman Anna Eshoo. She later met with Eshoo on July 20th, who took the matter to Senator Dianne Feinstein. On September 16th, Ford went public.

During the hearings of both Ford and Kavanaugh, the democratic senators trusted the claims by Ford and assumed that Kavanaugh was a rapist. Republicans trusted Kavanaugh, as Ford had no evidence to back up her claim. Democrats, including Dianne Feinstein, repeatedly showed empathy to Ford and expressed how much they care about her.

So if they really cared, why did Dianne Feinstein wait two months to come forward, when she knew about it the whole time? The answer is simple and very obvious. Since the midterms are coming up in November, the Democrats want to win the Senate majority and vote against Kavanaugh so he can’t get on the Supreme Court. Then, they want to attempt to win in 2020 so a Democratic President can choose the next justice. They are attempting to drag out the hearings to simply stall.

We shouldn’t accuse anyone of anything unless we have valid evidence. Accusing someone of something serious like rape with no evidence is absurd.

I believe Kavanaugh is innocent, and nobody should believe Dr. Ford until she has enough evidence to open up a valid investigation. Right now, she has ruined the life of Judge Kavanaugh. His family has gone through hell with all of this nonsense. The only thing that the Democrats attacked him with is his drinking in high school and tried to use alcohol as evidence. I have also never heard someone say, “I don’t remember” in a hearing more than Dr. Ford, and it is ironic because she has a degree in psychology.

We shouldn’t accuse anyone of anything unless we have valid evidence. Accusing someone of something serious like rape with no evidence is absurd.
