Tyrone and Altoona split the win in their swim meet at Altoona. The Golden Eagles won the boys meet, 90-66, but the girls fell to Altoona 78-53.

Double winners for the Eagles were Bishop Guilfoyle junior Isaac Yeskey who won the 50-yard freestyle with a 25.48 and the 100 backstroke with a 1:05.84 and for the girls, Bellwood senior Evalyna Aiken took the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:05.84 and 500 freestyle with a time of 6:41.48 for the Lady Eagles.

Other first-place winners for the Golden Eagles were Lucas Bonsell for the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:03.62 and Bellwood senior Spencer Dunklebarger in 100 freestyle with a time of 52.89.

The Tyrone boys swept the 100 back with Yeskey, Bonsell, and Eckenrode finishing first, second, and third.

Second and third-place winners for the boys were Cameron Gallagher in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:20.39, Dylan Eckenrode in the 200 IM with a time of 2:39.61, Alex Brumbaugh in the 500 freestyle with a time of 8:35.94.

For the girls, Tyrone sophomore Sophia Cowher placed second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:31.52 and third in the 50 free with a time of 32.19.

Grace Corl finished second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:17.49.

Senior Alyssa Wheland was third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 3:18.08 and third in the 500 free with a time of 9:18.70.
