Tyrone Girls Swim team took home another win against Altoona 103-67, but the boy’s team suffers another loss 61-81.

Both teams won two out of the three relays. The girl’s team won the 200 medley relay (2:02.96) and 400 free relay(4:16.15). The relays included Madison Coleman, Sarah E. Hoover, Fiona McConnell, and Mae Decker. The boy’s team won the 200 free relay (1:48.58) and 400 free relay (4:09.18). The relays included Hunter Gregg, Matt Lenze, Keegan Raabe, Ryland Bailor, and Aden McCracken.

The girl’s team had three double winners. Coleman won the 50 yard free (26.59) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:09.39). Hoover won the 200 IM (2:27.18) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.84). Decker won the 100-yard freestyle (1:01.47) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:06.73).

McConnell placed first in the 200-yard free (2:11.11) and placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.94). Sophomore Sarah M. Hoover placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (6:53.94) and placed third in the 200-yard free (2:29.38). Senior Cate Baran placed third in the 100-yard backstroke (1:12.28) and placed fourth in 50 free (29.62). Sophomore Victoria Reese placed third in 100-yard free (1:04.25) and placed fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (1:14.67).

The only double winner for the boy’s team was Lenze who won the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.03) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.04).

Raabe placed first in the 200-yard free (2:26.73) and placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (29.34). Gregg placed second in both the 50-yard free (27.64) and the 100-yard free (59.22). Bailor placed first in the 200 IM (2:40.98) and placed third in the 100-yard free (1:04.82). McCraken placed third in the 200 IM (2:45.99) and placed fourth in the 100- yard butterfly (1:23.56).

The next swim meet is on Wednesday, February 12th at 6 pm at home against Mifflin County.
