Senior Marin Grabill received an over the top promposal from senior Dallas Huff from our neighboring rival Bellwood.

At first, Marin was tricked into believing that her best friend Jordyn Greene and her were going out for ice cream.

But Jordyn took a “wrong turn” and ended up on a dead end road with Dallas waiting there.

“I thought he was going to ask someone from ‘Smellwood’ but I’m glad he [asked me].” said Grabill, “Him wearing a suit definitely influenced my answer.”

Dallas was able to make this “perfect” promposal once he figured out what she enjoys doing the most.

“Since she’s a majorette, I sort of went off that with the sign, and what girl doesn’t love flowers and balloons?” said Huff.

He was very nervous to ask Marin due to the planning that went in to it. He really wanted it to be perfect because he really likes her.

Marin was at a loss for words when she saw Dallas at the end of the street, because she had thought Jordyn and her were just going out for ice cream.

Marin and Dallas are most excited to have fun at prom and to make memories that will last for a lifetime.
