Lunch in the cafeteria can be pretty boring sometimes, but junior Marlena Wagner spiced things up a little bit with her promposal. With the help of Dean of Students Luke Rhoades, Marlena got on the microphone at lunch to present her promposal to sophomore AJ Grassi.

“Well, I wanted to do it in a big romantic gesture,” said Wagner, “and this was the best thing I could think of.”

Marlena got help from her friends Gina, Anslee, Austin, and Azia, who made sure the big moment was captured on video.  AJ was very surprised, but he knew right away that he would say yes.

“Of course I knew I would say yes,” said Grassi, “Who wouldn’t say yes if Marlena Wagner asked you to prom?”

She asked AJ because he will be really fun, and, according to Marlena, he’ll also look good in a tux.

AJ and Marlena are looking forward to spending time together at prom, and have a bunch of fun.
