TAHS Prom 2023

With the end of the school year rapidly approaching, TAHS students are looking forward to many end-of-the-year traditions, the biggest and most popular one being prom.

The 2024 TAHS Prom will be held on Friday, May 17th from 7:30 to 10:30 pm, and after two years at the Jaffa, the prom will return to the Discovery Center in downtown Altoona this year.

The “Grand March” will begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. outside in the corridor beside the Discovery Center.

The 2024 prom theme is Tangled in Our Memories.

The cost of the prom is $40.00 per person (Check or money order should be made payable to “TAHS”). Fees are non-refundable.

Students may participate in prom fundraising to offset the cost of attending prom. Please see Ms. Markel or Ms. Baker before turning in your forms and money.

All prom forms and fees must be turned in to Ms. Markel or Ms. Baker between Monday, April 15th, and Friday, April 19th.

Late forms will not be accepted. Each student and their guest must complete their own Registration Form and/or Guest Registration Form. Couple forms must be submitted together.

All forms are available outside Ms. Markle’s room (231).

Table sign-up will be on Thursday, April 25th, and Friday, April 26th in Mrs. Markel’s room (231).

Admission tickets, royal court voting tickets, parking pass, and other pertinent information will be distributed to all students attending prom Monday, May 13th.

For couples, the student whose name appears on the form stapled on top will receive the packet.
